How USDT arbitrage works
USDT arbitrage takes advantage of the fact that the same crypto dollar is worth a different amount on each Argentine exchange: you buy USDT where it is cheapest and sell it where it pays the most. Arbitralo compares live prices on Binance P2P, Ripio, Lemon, Belo, Buenbit and others, shows you which one is best for buying and which one is best for selling, and calculates whether there is a difference in your favor today.
What is USDT arbitrage and how does it work?
USDT is a digital currency designed to be worth one dollar. In Argentina, its price in pesos is not the same on every platform: each one has its own supply and demand, and charges its own fees.
Arbitrage means buying USDT on the platform where it costs the fewest pesos, moving it to the one that pays the most pesos for it, and selling it there. If you receive more than you paid, the difference is your profit. In Argentina this is often called a «rulo» (literally, a loop).
What is the gap and how do I read it?
The gap is the difference between what you receive when you sell 1 USDT at the best place and what you pay when you buy it at the best place. It is shown in pesos per USDT and as a percentage.
If the number is positive and green, there is a difference in your favor today based on the prices you see. If it is negative and red, doing the round trip today would lose you money. The gap changes during the day, which is why the page updates by itself every minute.
What are the risks and costs?
The prices on the page already include each exchange's fee, but they do not include the cost of transferring the USDT from one platform to another. The network charges that cost, and you can enter it in the calculator to see the real result.
In addition, the price can move while you trade, and a small gap can disappear along the way. Each platform may have limits, verifications and delays that we do not show.
When sending USDT between platforms, the network you choose must be the same on both: otherwise the funds are lost. Trading digital assets involves risk and this page is for information only.
Where do the prices come from?
From CriptoYA, which gathers the public quotes of the exchanges. Arbitralo queries them every minute and, below each exchange in the table, shows how long ago its price was updated.
These are reference values and may differ from what you see when you trade inside each platform.
How do I use the calculator?
You enter the pesos you want to invest and choose which exchange you buy on and which one you sell on. By default the best prices are selected. If you are going to move the USDT from one exchange to another, you can enter the transfer cost.
The calculator shows how many USDT you get, how many pesos you receive when you sell them, and the profit or loss. The button with the two arrows reverses the round trip. It is an estimate using the prices at that moment.
How do the alerts work?
The «Alert me» buttons on the cards open Convertilo's Telegram bot, with today's price as the value to watch. When the price reaches that value, the bot messages you on Telegram, in English. The bot's other commands are still in Spanish.
You need Telegram installed. You can ask for one alert to buy and another to sell.
